Payment and Policies
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I collect full payment at the time of service via major credit card. I provide a monthly statement (called a superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. The superbill contains the information typically required for your insurance carrier to process an out-of-network claim. I encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to our first appointment to determine your out-of-network mental health benefits, and I am happy to provide a list of questions to guide that conversation. Please note that I do not participate in Medicare, Medicaid, or TRICARE. My fee for a 50-minute individual psychotherapy session is $225. You may review my Notice of Privacy Practices at any time.
Good Faith Estimates:
Under the No Surprises Act, individuals who are uninsured or who are not using insurance to pay for their care have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. If you are eligible, you may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to dispute the bill. For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
